The Napa County Office of Education (NCOE) is a public agency that provides academic services and enrichment opportunities for students, teachers and the community, as well as critical business services for school districts. Job Summary

The job of Early Childhood Education Assistant is done for the purpose/s of providing support to the instructional program within assigned classroom with specific responsibility for organizing and directing age appropriate activities for infants to pre-school aged children in classrooms, common areas and playgrounds; preparing and serving meals; and assisting in maintaining a clean and safe learning environment for children.

Requirements / Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Job related experience is required in infant to pre-school age children or child care setting

• High school diploma or equivalent with an emphasis in Early Child Development

• Early Childhood Education or related field 9 units

• Pediatric CPR/First Aid Certificate

• Physical Capacities Test Clearance
