Protective Armed Specialist
Compensation - Salary: $120,000-$125,000 Annually
Shift: FT: Daylight – Monday – Friday

About the job:
- Excellent customer service is always your top priority, as you fulfill the critical need of access control and building safety.
- You present a physical deterrent by observing and reporting on activity at your assigned location.
- Serve as a lead for security events; visiting VIP’s and other activities within the building which may include partnering with the internal security team.
- Working knowledge of the risks to the organization and implementation of security controls such as building lockdowns if necessary.
- You provide rapid response in critical situations; medical emergencies, building breaches, etc.
- Ability to assess, understand and mitigate threats to your assigned location.
- You know when and how to enforce customer procedures, regulations, and standards.
- Recommend and implement safety measures to enhance security for facilities, operations, and people within the building.
- You have at least a high school education or equivalent (GED) in hand
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)
- 20+ years of Law Enforcement experience
- A minimum of 5 years in a protective service role
- Strong experience with event security, executive protection and communications, intelligence analysis and risk assessments
- Valid NY Guard Card
- Valid Firearms Permit
- Valid NY Concealed Weapons Permit with HR-218
- Current CPR/AED Certification
