Hybrid SY 25-26 - Building HVAC Operator (Fireman-Custodian) bei Join Delaware Schools Consortium

Positions in our facilities department require physical activity. Prospective employees are encouraged to check with their medical provider to ensure they are able to meet the physical requirements of the position.

These physical requirements include:

• A tolerance for repetitive lifting, carrying, bending, squatting, stooping, kneeling, twisting, reaching overhead
• Ability to safely lift 50 lbs. from floor to 36” shelf and 40 lbs. to shoulder height 
• Ability to push/pull up to 50 lbs
• Ability to climb a 6 ft. ladder
• Ability to stand and/or walk for an entire shift when necessary
• Ability to operate machinery

The district reserves the right to review and adjust the physical requirements for the position as needed and will communicate changes to employees.  The district will follow all procedures and policies in accordance with the Leave Office regarding fit for duty examinations. 

 TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

• Twelve-month year
• Salary and Benefits in accordance with negotiated Agreement.
