We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Assembly Team Lead to join our team.
In this vital role, you will be responsible for directing the assembly line, delegating work activities, and assisting in training and cross training as directed by the supervisor.

Shift Available: First Shift- 6:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday

Key Responsibilities:
- Train employees on the assembly of specific products.
- Assist Supervisor in training/cross training associates at different work stations.
- Operate various lifting equipment such as forklifts and hand trucks.
- Act as a technical resource to assembly team members to address and resolve inquires and problems and provide feedback to supervisors on recurring/major performance issues.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools.
- Resolve technical/mechanical issues.
- Recommend changes to Engineering through RFC process.
- Build product to daily/hourly productivity goals as assigned with assembly line team.
- Perform final assembly and inspection of product built to ensure that the product is per print and customers expectation.
- Document, record and file quality checklists for each production run.
- Maintain and monitor daily KPI’s recording hourly and shift results.
- Identifies continuous improvement opportunities that support Safety, Quality, Delivery, Productivity, and Cost.
- Maintain a safe, clean and orderly work area

Qualifications
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience and Training:
- At least two years of assembly experience required
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings required
- Use of hand and powers tools required
- Quality checks are required

Physical and Mental Demands:
- Regularly required to use hands tools and power tools, blue print reading, training and leading
- Must be able to read and follow directions
- Specific abilities include close vision, reading, lifting up to 50 pounds.
