Players Inc (PI), licensing and marketing subsidiary of the NFL Players Association (NFLPA) is seeking a proactive and resourceful Executive Associate to join our team!
The Executive Associate (EA) to the President of NFL Players Inc. is a trusted, strategic partner and operational leader for the President. The EA will provide high-level administrative support, ensure smooth day-to-day operations, facilitate efficient communication across internal and external stakeholders, and proactively manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate brings exceptional judgment, discretion, organizational rigor, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. To be successful in this role, candidates should have 8-10 years in a senior executive support role, ideally in sports, entertainment, media or similarly fast-paced industry. Other qualifications include the ability to manage competing priorities, calendars and communication at C-suite level, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, high EQ, integrity and the ability to build trust across levels. Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace and collaboration tools (Zoom, Slack etc.) is a must.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Operations
- Manage and optimize the President’s calendar, including scheduling meetings, coordinating travel, and ensuring appropriate preparation and follow-up.
- Assist in relationship management with Players Inc Board, partners, and business leaders - upholding a high standard of professionalism and responsiveness.
- Serve as a reliable gatekeeper and liaison between the President and internal/external stakeholders.
- Draft, proofread, and manage high-quality correspondence, presentations, reports, and agendas.
- Anticipate the President’s needs and take initiative to resolve operational and logistical challenges proactively.
Internal Coordination
- Assist in managing strategic projects and priorities, including preparation for board meetings, executive leadership meetings, off-site retreats, and PI staff engagement events.
- Collaborate with senior leaders, department heads, and support staff to align efforts and drive execution on behalf of the President.
- Track key deliverables, decisions, and deadlines, ensuring follow-through and execution on behalf of the President.
Confidentiality and Judgment
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with absolute discretion.
- Represent the President with integrity, tact, and professionalism, both internally and externally.
- Act as a culture carrier, modeling the organization’s values and standards in every interaction.
