Roles and Responsibilities:

• Manage complex software projects focused on Air Traffic Control applications, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and industry standards
• Develop comprehensive project plans, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
• Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and manage client expectations
• Utilize appropriate systems and tools to measure and maintain project quality control
• Identify and mitigate potential risks, proactively resolve issues that could impact delivery, implement necessary changes and maintain updated documentation for all stakeholders
• Facilitate effective communication and cross-functional collaboration between third-party vendors, regional delivery teams and internal departments to ensure seamless and successful project execution
• Mentor junior project managers and support building an effective project management team
• Support the sales team during the pre-sales phase, providing input on quotations and managing change requests in coordination with Sales

Skills Required:

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
• Min. 10 years of experience in project management, with focus on software delivery for safety-critical applications
• Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering large-scale projects
• Good understanding of air traffic control systems, airport operations, and related technologies
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Fluent in English & German, both spoken and written
• Adept at managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant project management certifications are highly desirable

The minimum salary according to the IT collective agreement for this position is EUR 4.346,- gross per month (14 times per year). Depending on the respective experience level and personal profile, we offer an attractive overpayment.
