Description
We’re looking for an IT Data Specialist who is detail-obsessed and loves working behind the scenes to ensure state-required data is accurate, timely, and secure. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across teams and helping ensure the accuracy of data used in day-to-day operations and state submissions.
If you have an eye for detail, enjoy solving data puzzles, and like working behind the scenes to support programs and compliance, this might be the perfect fit.

- Find and fix data errors, and make sure everything’s well-documented.
- Work with programs, operations, and intake teams to help them understand and improve data input.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CARF, and internal privacy policies.
- Monitor data quality and perform regular cleanup and validation tasks.
- Stay current on state data reporting requirements.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Monitor, clean, and validate data across platforms to maintain consistency and accuracy.
- Spot issues like duplicates, gaps, or weird entries—and fix them.
- Help enforce data rules and standards across the board.
- Spot opportunities to make data processes smoother.
- Identify and correct duplicate or incomplete records.
- Assist the Data Team Lead in supporting and training related to data.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years working with data (analysis, integration, or database management) or the equivalent.
- Proficient in Excel, Access, SQL, C++, or similar tools, with the ability to learn proprietary tools specific to our EHR system.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Clear communication skills.
- Familiarity with data used in state or federal reporting systems (e.g., DCF, EHRs)
- May require occasional evening or weekend availability for urgent data issues or system maintenance.
