WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING (ESSENTIAL DUTIES) …

As a vital member of the NMH team, the Centralized Scheduler is responsible for a broad array of scheduling, administrative, and recordkeeping duties that support all NMH providers across multiple locations. This role is essential for maintaining the seamless day-to-day operations of NMH, ensuring that both client and provider needs are met efficiently and professionally within our Certified Community Behavioral Health Center (CCBHC)


Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently schedule appointments for clients and providers in accordance with agency protocols and individual provider templates, ensuring optimal utilization of provider time.
  • Review and manage provider schedules daily to maintain full capacity and operational efficiency, proactively identifying and addressing potential scheduling conflicts.
  • Actively resolve scheduling conflicts as they arise, coordinating with providers and other staff to find workable solutions that maintain the integrity of the schedule.
  • Maintain regular and effective communication with providers to facilitate smooth scheduling operations and address any issues promptly.
  • Answer incoming phone calls, triaging inquiries by providing professional, knowledgeable, and courteous responses, and ensuring that client needs are addressed promptly and effectively.
  • Accurately update and maintain client information in the electronic health record system, ensuring that all data is current and correct.
  • Attend all agency and department-required training sessions and meetings within specified time to stay informed of policies, procedures, and best practices.

Requirements

WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU…

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a provider office setting.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work quickly and accurately while following detailed instructions.
  • Possesses outstanding customer service skills, with a strong focus on client satisfaction and professional interaction.
  • Experienced with computers, electronic health records, and multi-line phone systems, ensuring seamless technological integration into daily tasks.
  • Shows unwavering respect and regard for the dignity of all NMH clients, families, visitors, and fellow employees.
