HealthFirst Family Care Center, a Certified Great Place to Work® and a wonderful place to make a difference, is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team of mission-minded healthcare professionals, supporting our psychiatric nurse practitioner by working in our Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) and psychiatric programs.

You’re a compassionate, highly organized Medical Assistant with a passion for making care more accessible, especially for those navigating substance use recovery. You're certified, confident with EMRs, experienced in phlebotomy and clinical support, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-centered environment. You know how to keep patients at ease, and you understand that kindness, consistency, and communication go a long way in helping people heal. You’re reliable, flexible, and driven by a deep sense of purpose.

What you’ll do:
- Support MAT and psych patients by prepping for visits, documenting vitals, and coordinating follow-ups
- Perform phlebotomy, administer medications and vaccines, and assist during exams
- Track patient progress and maintain accurate records
- Work closely with providers, pharmacies, and insurers to coordinate care
- Champion quality improvement and patient satisfaction every step of the way

Requirements
What you’ll bring:
- High school diploma or GED
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
- AAMA certification (CMA or RMA) and BLS certification
- At least 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work across multiple sites and collaborate across departments
- Comfort working with sensitive patient populations with empathy and discretion
