Ice Arena and Fields Technician 

Hours: 40 hours/week
Winter Season: 2:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m. OR 12:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.
Spring/Summer/Fall Seasons: 12:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.
Available for weekend support as needed.

Starting Hourly Rate: $22.73 - $24.51, depending on experience

Position Description
The Ice Arena and Fields Technician is responsible for working with the community to ensure a positive user experience when accessing District fields, grounds, dome, and ice arena (Central Sports Complex). The role is also responsible for maintaining these environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provides excellent customer service by serving as the primary point of contact and liaison with youth athletic associations and community groups.

• Inspects, diagnoses, operates, maintains, and repairs the ice arena, dome, and fields.

• Designs, installs, programs, and repairs major building automation systems.

• Prepares and maintains records related to operational activities and facility conditions.

• Maintains a department inventory and orders new supplies as necessary.

• Enforces district policies and procedures for facility use and supervises facility attendants.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED.
