Project Delivery Manager

JANSON is seeking a passionate, purposeful, and problem-solving individual to serve as our Project Delivery Manager for our Buildings & Environments domain and reports to our Director of Program Management. This role requires proven management experience, contract performance to include cost and schedule. This position will be based at our Headquarters in Fairfax, VA with frequent travel domestically and abroad.

SUMMARY:

This individual will be vital to both the day-to-day and long-term success of JANSON. As a mission-focused organization fueled by our commitment to service excellence, the ideal candidate must maintain the ability to:  

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain master schedules integrating all workstreams.

Create detailed sub-schedules for:

• Demos/mock-ups
• General contracting
• Furniture procurement and installation
• AV equipment delivery and setup
• Final installations and commissioning
• Define milestones, dependencies, and critical path elements.
• Coordination & Integration Management
• Coordinate across multiple vendors (GCs, FF&E, AV, logistics, etc.).
• Act as liaison between internal stakeholders, external vendors, and executive sponsors.

Task & Resource Management

• Assign tasks and track team progress using PM tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Asana).
• Plan for contingencies, buffer periods, and backup vendors when needed.
• Vendor & Contractor Oversight
• Track deliverables and maintain vendor schedules

· Procurement & Logistics Tracking

• Coordinate order placement, shipment, and delivery for:
• FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment)
• AV equipment
• Specialized tools or systems
• Maintain real-time visibility into delivery timelines, delays, or issues.

Schedule Risk & Issue Management

• Identify risks to schedule (delays in permitting, material shortages, etc.).
• Implement mitigation plans and escalate critical blockers.
• Maintain a risk register with contingency planning.

Qualifications:

• BS degree or commensurate experiences with at least 5 years of experience in a related field such as project management.
• Proven ability to manage multiple timelines n a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work in advanced project management software
• SECRET clearance or the ability to get one
• Construction background and/or general contracting experience preferred 
• Prior military experience preferred, but not required
• Exceptional organizational and planning ability
• Demonstrated success managing complex, multi-vendor projects with overlapping timelines and deliverables.
