Description

The Senior Accountant is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of accounting records, including journal entries and general ledger accounts. This position plays a key role in the month-end close process, financial analysis, internal audits, and reconciliations. The Senior Accountant will collaborate with internal teams to maintain compliance, support audits, and deliver reliable financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and post journal entries—both automated and manual—ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Complete month-end close activities, including general ledger reconciliations and journal entries.
• Monitor reconciliations between general ledger and subsidiary ledgers; report any discrepancies.
• Analyze significant account variances and provide supporting documentation.
• Assist with internal audit procedures by performing testing and identifying potential risk areas.· Oversee Accounts
• Payable/Accounts Receivable with responsible for the accurate and timely processing and payments.
• Perform other accounting-related duties.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• Minimum of 2 years of general ledger experience; manufacturing experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Able to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently or as part of a team.
