Arobas Personnel is looking for an ITSM Change Management Specialist for a contract position with one of our clients, located in Mississauga or Montreal.
*Remote : Hybrid-3 days/week in the office*
Are you passionate about driving change in complex IT environments? This role offers a unique opportunity to play a key role in aligning change management strategies with business objectives and ITIL best practices.
What will your day-to-day look like?
- Design and implement a comprehensive change management strategy aligned with business goals and ITIL best practices.
- Lead and facilitate change management activities throughout the project lifecycle (assessment, planning, execution, closure).
- Develop and deliver training and communication plans for stakeholders at all levels.
- Manage and track change requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Conduct impact assessments to identify potential risks and challenges associated with proposed changes.
- Maintain up-to-date change management documentation, including procedures, templates, and KPIs.
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in for change initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze change metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks or issues that could affect successful change implementation.
- Provide regular status reports and updates to leadership on the progress of initiatives.
- Stay current with industry best practices and emerging trends in IT service and change management.
- Travel may be required depending on project needs.
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a change management role within an IT environment.
- Solid knowledge of ITIL framework and change methodologies (e.g., ADKAR, Prosci).
- Hands-on experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, etc.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated and a strong team player with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Project management experience is a plus.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, Prosci) are highly desirable.
