Schedule: Full Time | 6:30am to 3pm

As a Scheduling Specialist, you’ll play a key role in supporting our care teams by developing and maintaining unit schedules, managing daily staffing levels, and assisting with payroll processing. You’ll use technology and communication to anticipate needs, solve problems, and ensure team members are positioned for success.
As a Scheduling Specialist, you will:
- Coordinate & Maintain Schedules – Build four-week staff schedules using our designated scheduling tool, enter approved changes, review for accuracy, and ensure schedules are distributed on time and meet staffing guidelines.
- Manage Daily Staffing Operations – Monitor daily staffing across units, identify over- and under-staffed areas, and reallocate team members and float staff accordingly. Post daily staffing levels in accordance with state requirements.
- Support Compliance & Payroll – Track required staffing hours, ensure accurate records for payroll processing, and assist with team member orientation, training logistics, and required documentation.
- Collaborate & Communicate – Partner closely with Human Resources, clinical leaders, and unit supervisors to resolve scheduling challenges, manage team requests, and uphold clear and timely communication.

This job also requires:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of scheduling experience, preferably in healthcare.
- Strong skills in organization, time management, communication, and customer service.
- Experience with spreadsheets and scheduling software.
- On Call requirement
- Ability to pass state mandated background checks.
- Physical capability to perform all essential job functions.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English to ensure effective communication with team members, residents, and visitors.
