1. Education: Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Arkansas
2. Training and Experience: Current BLS CPR Certification Required. ACLS preferred. One (1) year of clinical nursing experience, preferably in gastroenterology, endoscopy, or surgical services is preferred.
3. Job Knowledge: Accountable for knowledge of nursing processes, general outpatient care center skills as per checklist. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for delegated duties in OPCC and demonstrates knowledge in the care of the following patients: infant, child, adolescence, adult and geriatric. OPCC Endoscopy LPN supports physicians and RNs during gastrointestinal procedures by preparing and maintaining endoscopy equipment and assisting with patient care before, during, and after procedures. The OPCC Endoscopy LPN is responsible for the safe, effective, and timely cleaning, disinfection, and maintenance of endoscopes and related equipment while following the standards of care. The OPCC Endoscopy LPN will complete competencies as assigned.
