Summary:

As the Operations System Engineer, you are product champion. You will be responsible for System-level Test and Integration of new system products from the time of product kick-off through the final qualification testing. You will develop the overall system-level test plans and procedures to encompass all internal and external hardware, software, and test requirements. In this role, you will work with and provide guidance to multiple discipline teams in the organization.

Requirements


  • Distill complex product designs into hardware and software components to create project structure.
  • Collaborate with design engineers in the development of requirements and technical documents.
  • Write and review test plans and test procedures.
  • Manage requirements and end-to-end traceability.
  • Navigate interdisciplinary technical issues and coordinate hardware-software interfaces.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources as needed for meetings and multi-discipline peer reviews.
  • Develop and coordinate the verification/validation of customer and product requirements.
  • Perform system-level testing of the final product.
  • Work with configuration management to verify and validate baseline hardware and software.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or technical discipline required.
  • 1-5 years’ experience with integration testing of complex hardware.
  • System Engineering experience with MBSE and Cameo preferred.
  • Preferred to have experience in generation of systems requirements/design documentation and management of requirements.
  • Deep understanding of product development lifecycle and configuration management; inclusive of electrical, mechanical and software.
  • Understanding of Reliability Predictions and Analysis.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills to train, coach and collaborate with other staff.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated, and possess a high degree of curiosity and desire to learn new things.
  • Good organizational skills and be able to multi-task within a fast-paced environment
