Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Ability to assist the people we support by promoting the development of functional skills, inclusion and individualization.
  • Mentoring individuals to help build social skills and relationships
  • Ability to assist the individuals we serve with all necessary basic daily living needs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely record keeping and communication within program (e.g. incident reports, verbal reports, shift documentation).
  • Provides transportation for residents to legal and medical appointments, activity outings, etc.
  • Maintain a safe, comfortable and appropriate environment.
  • Ability to participate in community activities with clients
  • Cleaning and sanitizing home
  • Preparing meals

Requirements:

  • Must be able willing to work weekends
  • High school Diploma or GED required
  • 2 years group home experience/caring for individuals with disabilities
  • 1 year of Leadership experience/caring for individuals with disabilities 
  • Direct Support experience preferred
  • Behavior Focus experience preferred
  • Must pass level 2 background screening

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00-$17.50 per hour

Shift:

  • 2nd shift 2-10pm
  • Saturday & Sunday's 10Am-10pm
  • Monday 2pm -10pm
  • Fridays 2pm-10pm
  • 1 Thursday a month 2pm-10pm

pmWork Days:

  • Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

  • Caregiving/Healthcare: 2 years (Required)
  • 1 year of Leadership skills 

Work Location: In person
