About the Role

As a dental assistant, you will enhance the efficiency of the dental office as well as provide a relaxed, friendly, and welcoming environment creating a positive experience for patients.

What You’ll Do

    Support both the dentist and patients with a variety of tasks.

    Assist with patient preparation, providing comfort and explaining procedures.

    Offer clinical support during dental procedures by handing instruments, suctioning, and managing dental materials.

    Perform administrative tasks including scheduling appointments and managing patient records.

    Ensure instruments are property sterilized, and that the treatment area is clean and organized.

    Educate patients on oral hygiene and post treatment care.

    Expose and develop diagnostic dental x-rays and perform routing maintenance and cleaning of dental operatory equipment.

What We’re Looking For

    High School Diploma or equivalent

    A minimum of 1 years’ experience working as a Dental Assistant is desired.

    Graduation from a Dental Assistant training program/technical school.  Additional training may substitute for required experience.

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds.

    Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
