About the Role

The RCM Technical Operations Analyst will collaborate closely with strategic outsourced billing clients. This role is pivotal in supporting the Revenue Cycle Manager, Customer Account Managers, functional managers, team members, and clients by analyzing revenue cycle trends, generating reports, creating dashboards, and driving operational enhancements. The RCM Technical Operations Analyst will transform data into intuitive analytics tools to optimize business efficiency and revenue. Additionally, this position facilitates the seamless transition of strategic clients from the implementation phase to ongoing outsourced billing services.

This position will be located at our office in Charleston, SC.  


How you will make an impact:

In this role, you’ll:

  • Review and analyze customer revenue cycle data, including accounts receivable, error/denial trends, and payment postings in collaboration with Operations and Customer Account Managers. 
  • Create, update, and maintain EP dashboards and customer trend logs.
  • Support the implementation of strategic customers by mapping error codes, developing specific requirements, and creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for front-end and back-end processes. Collaborate with other departments to cover all customer aspects not directly related to front-end or back-end processes. Support new customer go-live processes and implement current workflows that follow best billing practices.
  • Deliver analytics to aid in managing and streamlining operations. Work with the Customer Account Manager to deliver customer reporting and monitor an ensure the execution of internal AR review meetings.
  • Participate in projects to automate system workflows, data gathering, and reporting. Monitor process effectiveness, make adjustments as necessary, and document new procedures.
  • Conduct audits of offshore operations per business and workflow requirements. Track offshore inventory, monitor productivity, and conduct turnover inventory meetings. Provide training and support to offshore teams to ensure operational success.
  • Produce BI and ad-hoc project reports for team and business stakeholders. Ensure timely scheduling and accuracy of BI reports.
  • Conduct training sessions for new employees, existing employees and coordinate cross-departmental training initiatives.
  • Provide support for Operational/RCM tasks based on business needs.

Skills and experience you have: 

You don’t need to check every box. We will consider a combination of education and experience, including:

  • BA/BS in Business, Finance, Healthcare IT/Mgt, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in revenue cycle, billing and/or strategic analytics role.
  • MS Excel Experience required.
  • Solid experience & understanding with medical billing software and medical billing practices. 
  • Must be willing to travel domestically 10% of the time.

Pay Transparency

At XiFin, we believe in pay transparency and fairness. The expected annual salary range for this role is $60,000-$80,000, based on your experience, skills, and geographic location.

Depending on your qualifications, you may be considered for either an RCM Technical Operations Lead or RCM Technical Operations Analyst title. Final compensation will be determined during the selection process and may vary accordingly.
