Global Strategic Alliance Lead

As a Global Strategic Alliance Lead for the MX business unit, you will be responsible for developing and executing global partnership strategies that enable our organization to achieve its business objectives. You will work closely with the different Barco teams (product management, marketing, sales) and partners to identify opportunities for collaboration, and manage relationships… Based on your interactions with partners and other eco-system players, you create a holistic view on the evolution of the corporate workplace market.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop global ecosystem strategy in line with overall short and long-term BU strategy
  • Define alliance partner program strategy incl. landscape overview of alliance partners / tiering
  • Develop go-to-market strategies with key strategic alliance partners and drive implementation.
  • Drive global alliance marketing strategy (value proposition, thought leadership, co-marketing) and joint messaging framework
  • Identify and evaluate potential partners and opportunities for collaboration
  • Reach out, develop and maintain global relationships and GTM plans with strategic / premier alliance partners (key account management – business development) ensuring alignment and value creation for both organizations
  • Drive alliance partner program framework, tools & processes
  • Work closely with internal teams (PM, R&D, marketing support, sales …) to drive partnership initiatives and ensure successful implementation of those initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on partnership performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Create and update overall partner program governance dashboard and report back on status and accomplishments into the organization

 

Requirements

Education:

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred, or equal through experience

Experience:

7+ years of experience in global partnership development and management, preferably in the technology or related industry

Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of corporate workplace ecosystem
  • Experience in negotiating and closing complex partnership agreements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build solid/trustworthy relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to think strategically to identify partnership opportunities
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Willingness to travel as needed
