Job Summary
Responsible for quality of incoming raw materials, returned goods and finished products.
Essential Functions
- Quality control of finished products (pH, clarity, color, odor, viscosity, active ingredients of disinfectants, etc.)
- Quality control of incoming raw materials by following internal processes
- Quality control of caps and bottles
- Inspect returned goods and assign responsibility for removal
- Prepare standard solutions for different test needs
- Promote quality and safety within the plant
- Record all of the work orders
Additional Responsibilities
- Assist supervisors with concerns or questions about quality control
- Other duties as assigned

- Ability to operate the following equipment: pH meter, viscometer, oven titration equipment, gloss meter, conductivity meter, scales, phone, computer, mixers, forklift
- Operate lab instruments
Requirements
Education and Experience
- Chemistry courses in high school or college
Physical Demands
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50 lb. on occasion
- Ability to identify color and odor
- Manual dexterity to operate computer
