SUMMARY:
The Non-CDL Driver is responsible for transporting VoidForm finished goods and raw materials from the company warehouse locations to client worksites or facilities in a safe and timely manner. Additional duties include facilitating the loading of products on their trucks and/or trailers, using a navigation system to map their route, and delivering products to the correct address within the expected timeframe.
The Non-CDL Driver position must adhere to all city, state, federal, D.O.T, and company transportation laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. Performing pre and post transportation inspections, maintaining drive logs, and reporting safety and maintenance issues as they arise.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs the following responsibilities in accordance with VoidForm policies and procedures, work rules, expectations, and behavior standards:
- Communicates with the Logistics Manager and Fleet Manager daily to ensure product deliveries are completed in a timely manner and any
maintenance issues are addressed. - Performs daily and pre-trip inspections on company vehicles and trailers ensuring compliance standards are met and maintenance issues are
resolved. - Secures cargo and ensures proper balance within vehicle and/or trailer, ensuring the safe transportation of materials and products.
- Transport company products and materials to and from destinations, on time and according to delivery schedules.
- Obeys all applicable traffic laws, always wear a seatbelt, and avoids cell phone use while driving.
- Maintains a detailed log of working hours in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Supports company needs by transporting raw materials from vendors as needed.
- Researches and plans accordingly for traffic, construction, and weather delays. Uses navigation applications to determine the best routes.
- Interacts with clients professionally and always maintains a positive attitude.
- Ensures vehicles are always fueled and clean, interior and exterior.
- Performs routine inspections and all preventive maintenance as dictated by Fleet Management, reports any major repairs as needed.
- Ensure all required driving records and documents are up to date, including a valid driver’s license.
- Cleans trailer interiors by sweeping and removing/stacking pallets left by customer.
- Performs other duties as assigned based on experience, skills, and business needs.
Requirements
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: (Education, Training, and Experience Required)
- Required: Class B Driver’s License
- Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Preferred: 2+ years driving experience
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Possess a valid Class B driver’s license.
- Must pass a random drug and alcohol test.
- Possess a thorough understanding of all D.O.T regulations.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Dependable, team player with good moral character

While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal to high volumes of stress.
