Hybrid Detailer I bei Turbocoating Corp.

Position Summary

A Detailer position would include, but is not limited to, prep-work, sanding, gritting, masking, peening, blending, brazing, tack welding, airflow, FPI and taping of parts, as well as assisting operators and performing duties assigned by the Production Manager and Team Leaders.

Essential Functions

1. Prep-work of parts
2. Sanding, coating thickness and roughness checking of parts
3. Taping and masking of parts
4. Blending with electric/ pneumatic tool, tack welding and brazing of parts.
5. Peening of parts.
6. Airflow and washing of parts.
7. FPI of parts.
8. Assist Machine Operators
9. Assist and perform duties as assigned by Production Manager and Team Leaders.
10. Use of calibrated instruments to perform critical measurements
11. Data entry into electronic logs, using Microsoft Excel, Word and ERP.
12. Packaging of parts
13. Checking serial number list.
14. Preparing shipments with proper paperwork,and packing material
15. Inventory Counts
16. Performs other duties as assigned

Work Environment

This job operates in a manufacturing environment. The individual will be required to adhere to safety policies and procedures on the manufacturing floor.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.

The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 lbs and occasionally lift and or move up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, requiring 8 hours of work per day Monday thru Friday, some overtime as business needs change. Willing to work flexible shifts, overtime, and weekends, if necessary.

1. High School Diploma or GED
2. Detail-oriented
3. Must be able to plan, prioritize and perform work in an efficient manner to meet schedules
4. Able to work in a fast-paced environment
