SUMMARY
A highly motivated and detail-oriented Cost Analyst is needed to join the finance team. This is an opportunity to play a vital role in analyzing and optimizing costs, contributing to profitability and strategic decision-making. The Cost Analyst will provide crucial financial insights and recommendations to ensure efficient resource allocation and drive the company's success.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor and analyze costs to identify trends, variances, and potential financial risks and/or cost saving opportunities
- Develop and maintain cost models to accurately reflect business operations and facilitate financial planning.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports, forecasts, and presentations for management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data, develop budgets, and monitor adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Support the preparation and analysis of cost reports to evaluate project performance and profitability
- Participate in audits and ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience in cost analysis or a related financial role, demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- In-depth knowledge of cost accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in financial analysis software and tools, with advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance
- Minimum 1-3 years of related work experience
