Middle School Learning Specialist Leave Replacement

The Leffell School is a cutting-edge K–12 Jewish independent school serving more than 850 students on two campuses in Westchester County, NY, 30 minutes north of New York City. We are seeking a Middle School Learning Specialist Leave Replacement.
Position Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented and dedicated Middle School Learning professional who will engage and inspire students, foster strong communication with parents and colleagues, and contribute to our mission of developing students to become responsible, honest, compassionate, and respectful citizens.
Responsibilities:
Teaches both skills and content along with self-advocacy and other strategies to help students be successful.
Communicates frequently with students, parents, other teachers and outside support personnel.
Collaborates closely with content teachers.
Works in our Center for Academic Support (CAS).
Supports students's learning in specific content areas and skill development.
Works with students on content and skill areas.
Qualifications:
Master’s in Special Education
