St. Luke School is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and enthusiastic Part-Time Preschool 4 Aide to join our early childhood education team. This role plays a vital part in creating a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for our four-year-old students. Working in close partnership with the classroom teacher, the aide supports instructional activities, assists in classroom management, and contributes to the preparation and organization of materials that enrich learning experiences.

Primary Function:
The classroom teacher assistant is responsible for helping students learn subject matter and skills that will contribute to their development as mature, responsible adults under the direction of the classroom teacher/team.

Key Relationships:
The teacher assistant reports to the principal and is supervised by the principal. Other key relationships include the assistant principal, grade level team, and his/her assigned teacher.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• A Bachelor's Degree- preferred
• High School Degree- required
• Ability to teach appropriate grade-level curriculum
• Ability to establish collaborative relationships with the assigned teacher or grade level teaching staff

Personal and Professional Qualities:

• The teacher assistant must possess the ability to work tactfully and effectively with students, teachers, administrators, and parents.
• He/she must display evidence of an educational philosophy in agreement with that of
• Holy Family Catholic Academy.
• He/she must display an ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents.

Professional Responsibilities:

• Utilizes effective instructional strategies with students
• Manages the students in a positive manner, respecting the dignity of all

This position has an hourly salary of - $21.00 per hour. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on many factors including but not limited to: relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and organizational needs.
