Lifeline, a ministry for middle and high-school students at Ada Bible Church, is looking for a Student Ministries Campus Director to join the team at the Cascade Campus. This full-time position offers an incredible opportunity for someone passionate about impacting students’ lives as they explore the story of God and find their own place within it.
The Student Ministries Campus Director is the primary spiritual leader and overseer of the student ministry at their campus. A key focus of this role is to empower and equip volunteers to do the work of ministry, building a strong team culture where leaders are cared for, developed and mobilized. This role leads the student ministry directly on Sundays and oversees the leadership of their other campus director and the campus resident to own Ada Bible values and provide excellent ministry experience and trustworthy leadership for students, volunteers, and families at their campus. This person is the lead problem solver, visionary, teacher, and coach for all things student ministry at their campus and a key ministry leader for the campus at large.

What you will do--
Leadership Oversight of Campus Student Ministry
- Plan and execute weekly Lifeline services at your campus by collaborating, customizing, and leading your context with confident and Christlike leadership.
- Identify, recruit, and champion volunteers to serve in Lifeline
- Provide hospitable and biblical leadership to staff, volunteers, and students as needs and crises arise
- Empower and invest in volunteers and students to share in the work of ministry with you by calling out gifting, encouragement, equipping, and celebrating quality ministry.
- Own your role as the ministry leader of your campus creatively investing in the team and ministry to encourage both spiritual and numerical growth.
- Invest in personal leadership and spiritual growth through books, trainings, elder or ministry leader mentorship and conferences
- Maintain small group rosters and new student information.
- Lead your direct reports with consistent accountability through one-on-one’s, direct feedback, and encouragement.

- Maintaining regular contact with them by e-mail, phone, and in-person meetings.
- Connecting them to care and discipleship resources of Ada Bible Church
- Developing them in their role through encouragement, empowerment, and direction.
Care for and help disciple Lifeline students by…
- Connecting them to care and discipleship resources of Ada Bible Church
- Supporting and communicating with parents as needs arise
Preaching and Training:
- Teach Lifeline curriculum with excellence
- Collaborate in the creation of Lifeline curriculum for both MS and HS.
- Participate in development and evaluation tools
- Write, prepare, and deliver (or oversee) leader trainings on Lifeline Nights.
High School Ministry Team Member:
- Collaborate as a member of the High School Ministry Team under the leadership of the High School Ministry team lead to execute vision in weekly programming, events, and ministry initiatives.
- Plan, attend, and/or lead events for your ministry context in collaboration with the central team.
- Evaluate ministry environments like leader training, small group locations, schedule, and programing elements to ensure they serve the people in your specific context.
- Live into your identity as an expert in your ministry with an ongoing understanding of the age you serve.
You'll be expected to be an active member of your campus staff by being present, personal, and participating. Additionally, you'll be a member of our pastoral team or care team by caring for walk-ins, facilitating membership interviews, lead trainings, perform weddings and funerals, etc.
Who we’re looking for:
Lifeline is seeking someone to create a fun, high-energy, and engaging environment for students, yet can balance that with spiritual maturity, depth, and leadership. You may be a good candidate for this position if you like having fun and you strike a perfect balance between relating to the world of students and being an adult. You enjoy playing games, joking around, and having a good laugh and you know how to do these things in a way that resonates with students and points them towards Christ.
Beyond that, we’re looking for someone who is:
- Highly relational, able to build strong relationships with volunteers, students, and parents
- An inspiring leader who can recruit, develop, and build a team of student ministry volunteers
- An engaging public speaker, both on-stage and off-stage in small and large group settings
- Able to teach Biblical truth in a way that is understandable and meaningful to students
- Experienced leading and growing healthy student small groups
- Creative with a knack for brainstorming new and innovative ideas for student programming
- Available to work when Lifeline is scheduled including weekends, evenings, and occasional holidays
To be considered for the position, applicants should have 3 years of work or volunteer experience in student ministry. A Bachelor’s degree is required and seminary pursuit or equivalent Biblical training are preferred.
Finally, we’re looking for someone who is eagerly committed to Christ and exhibits a thriving relationship with him. Membership at Ada Bible Church is not a prerequisite for hire, but applicants should be willing to become a member within 90-days of hire and have beliefs consistent with Ada Bible Church’s statement of faith.
