Maintenance Technician – Entry-Level or Experienced

We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to support the equipment, systems, and infrastructure of our custom manufacturing facility. Whether you're experienced and ready to contribute right away or just starting out and looking for the right place to build your skills, we’re ready to support your success. 

What You’ll Do (Depending on Experience): 

Entry-Level Candidate 

• Perform basic inspections and preventative maintenance 
• Assist in troubleshooting and repairs on CNC machinery, forklifts, and other facility equipment 
• Help with HVAC, plumbing, and light carpentry tasks 
• Support installation of phone/data cables, tools, and fixtures 
• Keep maintenance areas clean, safe, and organized 
• Learn from experienced team members and gain hands-on skills 

Experienced Candidate 

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance independently 
• Troubleshoot and repair CNC, waterjet, forklifts, and facility systems 
• Read and interpret electrical schematics; rebuild motors and basic control panels 
• Weld, fabricate, and maintain hydraulic/pneumatic systems 
• Assist with or lead HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and facility projects 
• Program and troubleshoot basic PLC applications (if applicable) 

Skills and Abilities: 

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills 
• Knowledge of (or willingness to learn) plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems 
• Full working knowledge of hand and power tools 
• Effective communication and collaboration skills 
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, building plans, and technical manuals 
• Capable of maintaining a positive working relationship with co-workers and leadership 
• Dedicated to completing tasks with quality and follow-through 
• Adherence to company policies and OSHA safety standards 

Education & Experience – Based on Experience Level 

We will consider both experienced candidates and those who are ready to learn and grow. 

Minimum Requirements (All Candidates): 

• High school diploma or GED 
• Ability to clearly communicate in English (written and verbal) 
• Willingness to follow safety procedures and company standards 
• Willingness and ability to obtain Waterjet Maintenance Certification (company supported) 

Preferred for Experienced Candidates: 

• 5+ years of experience in maintenance or a related field 
• Electrical experience (required for placement as Level 2) 
• Welding and fabrication experience (preferred) 
• Certification in vocational or technical training (preferred) 
• Experience in a manufacturing environment with CNC, waterjet, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems 

Physical Requirements (All Candidates): 

• Ability to work at heights and from ladders 
• Frequently required to walk, use hands and fingers, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl 
• Regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds 
• Comfortable working in a hands-on, industrial manufacturing environment

• Competitive Wages: Starting wage for this position is expected to be $24.58-$30.71 per hour, DOE. The full wage scale is $21.93-$40.56 per hour
