We are looking for a Security Officer to join the Fiddler’s Family and share their passion for hospitality with our members, guests, and fellow staff members. Fiddler’s Elbow hosts a wide range of events from comedy shows and concerts to Fourth of July celebrations and New Year’s Eve festivities, our annual FiddleFest Music and Food Festival, Member White-Out Party, golf outings and sporting events. We also host smaller clubs within the Club, such as our beloved Book Club and Cigar Club. Our members host many private events like weddings, social events, and celebrations of life milestones.
The Security Attendant assists with maintaining the safety and security of employees, Members, guests and the Club’s assets and property. Shuttle Van Drivers have shifts involving driving our shuttle van to and from New York City and Philadelphia; applicants must be at least 26 years old to be considred for this driving position.
Essential Functions:
- Enforce security procedures for the protection of Members, guests, and employees.
- Patrols Club property periodically throughout the work shift.
- Completes written reports and violations.
- Reports maintenance issues promptly to engineering.
- Ensures no speeding or reckless driving on Club property; in parking lot and on grounds.
- As needed, be present for employee separations to collect Club property and escort employee off property.
- Provides security for social and Club events.
- Directs the investigation of alleged crimes committed on Club property; cooperates with law enforcement agencies, collects reports and appears in Court if necessary.
- Coordinates the removal of unauthorized vehicles from property with towing company.
- Assists with driving shuttle buses both on and off property.
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager.

Required Education/Experience:
- High School Graduate
- Previous hospitality related experience preferred
- 2-3 years previous security and public safety related experience required
Required Qualifications:
- Must be a team player; possess ability to work well with others
- Occasional lifting up to 30 pounds
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to properly operate a golf cart
- Occasional stooping, bending, lifting and reaching required
