Your Opportunity
We have a new opportunity for a Senior Facility Planner. This is an excellent opportunity for a Planner, Engineer or Architect who has an interest in business planning and implementation, developing client relationships, and designing facilities. Design work primarily involves functional planning, work flow and facility optimization, and facility layout.
The successful candidate will be involved in:
- Multi-discipline design management of large, complex facilities projects
- Functional planning of facilities including needs assessment, master planning, facility optimization and work flow optimization.
- Working with an integrated project delivery team which includes Structural, Electrical, Mechanical Engineers and Architects.
Qualifications
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or Architecture preferred, with at least fifteen years of experience in facility planning, and/or design management.
- Familiarity with integrated, collaborative facility design processes
- Highly effective interpersonal communication skills and people management abilities
- Experience in discrete event simulation analysis is an asset
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
