Summary

 

The R&D Scientist I supports the development and execution of laboratory experiments within the ADME-Tox portfolio. This individual contributes to projects that enhance customer satisfaction, support market growth, and improve product quality. The Scientist I works under the supervision of the R&D manager to assist with experimental design, data collection, and analysis. This role collaborates with cross-functional team members to ensure high-quality results and compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

Perform laboratory experiments in support of ADME-Tox product and assay development, following established protocols and procedures and/or investigational procedures.

· Assist with data collection, analysis, and interpretation under the guidance of the R&D manager.

· Support the validation and optimization of new products, assays, and processes.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technical training, presentations, and customer support.

· Conduct literature reviews to remain up-to-date and informed on new technologies and market needs.

· Prepare and contribute to scientific posters, manuscripts, conference presentations, and technical marketing materials to promote research findings and product capabilities.

· Maintain accurate and complete laboratory records and documentation in compliance with regulatory and company standards.

· Participate in routine laboratory maintenance, inventory management, and equipment calibration.

· Assist in troubleshooting technical issues and contribute to special projects as assigned

 

 

Requirements

 

MS with 1–3 years of related experience, or BA/BS with 4–7 years of related experience.

Proficiency with MS Office and scientific software (e.g., Prism, MatLab, Flow Cytometry Analysis).

· Experience designing, executing, and analyzing laboratory experiments.

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

· Experience with cell culture and analytical methods (DNA/RNA/protein analysis, primary cell isolation).

· Experience with analyses of sequencing or other -omics data is a plus

· Strong data analysis, problem-solving, and communication skills.

· Familiarity with GLP, GDP, and EHS standards.
