The Maintenance Helper (2nd shift) will assist Plant Maintenance with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance to the building and equipment to assure that the machines are properly maintained in order to meet customer quality and delivery expectations. S/he works under the guidance of others as assigned to assist with preventive maintenance on equipment as well as general facility maintenance and housekeeping
How You Will Help
Assist Plant Maintenance with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance to the building and equipment to assure that the machines are properly maintained.
What You Will Bring
- High School Education or Equivalent
- Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles and procedures
- Knowledge in the proper use and care of hand tools (various types of screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers, etc.) and other related accessories such as measuring tapes, levels, etc.
- Proper use and care of common shop equipment/machines
- Ability to understand machine capabilities
- Ability to use various tools and equipment including air ratchets, air chisels, electrical test meters, grinders
- Ability to read blueprints and measuring devices
- Ability to understand quality system and specifications
Job Benefits
- Hours: Monday through Friday, 2:30pm to 11:00pm
- Hourly Rate of Pay: $21.00 (includes shift premium)
- Benefits available after 30days
