Advanced Health Care of Landerhaven is seeking a compassionate and dedicated RN Nurse to join our team as an Admissions Nurse Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care during the admissions process. If you have a strong background in patient care and are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others, we encourage you to apply. This will include alternating weekends as the admissions nurse.
A few of the Responsibilities include:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients upon admission
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Perform venipuncture and other specimen collection processing
- Assist with medical imaging procedures as needed
- Provide education to patients and their families regarding their condition and treatment plan
- Monitor and document patient progress, ensuring accurate and timely documentation
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Experience:
- Valid Registered Nurse RN license in Ohio
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
- Proficient in medical terminology and documentation practices
- Strong knowledge of pain management techniques
- Experience with skilled nursing care patients preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Requirements
- RN License (No restrictions)
- Basic life support certifications
- IV insertion experience
- Proficiency in EMR and EHR systems
- Strong patient care and assessment skills
- Ability to perform catheterization and tube feeding
- Knowledge of physiology and medical terminology
- Experience in pain management and medication administration
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to develop and review care plans
Expected hours: 36 per week

- 10-hour shift
- 8-hour shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
- Weekends only
