Description
Position Summary
The motivated and customer-focused IT Support Associate plays a vital role in supporting the technical needs of our retail store locations by providing first-level support for hardware, software, and IT asset management. This role serves as the first point of contact for end users experiencing technical issues, ensuring business operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for hardware and software support to retail store locations.
- Configure, deploy, and maintain IT assets and systems.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues.
- Escalate unresolved issues when necessary.
- Monitor, track, and resolve assigned support tickets ensuring timely resolution and follow-up.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation for the IT Support team.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with store personnel regarding ticket status and issue resolution.
- Perform other IT-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum of 1 year experience troubleshooting computer hardware.
- Minimum of 1 year working with Microsoft software.
- Retail equipment/peripheral support experience a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
Work Environment & Schedule
- Ability to bend, twist, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift 35 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings or weekends, as needed.
- Occasional travel may be required.
