SALARY: As determined by negotiated Licensed Salary Schedule.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: This position starts August 21, 2025, for the 25-26 school year.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Teaching math classes at middle school grade level. Prepare units, lessons, and assessments both individually and in collaboration with content/grade-level teacher teams. Design and deliver high-quality instruction, compassionately and effectively manage the classroom environment, demonstrate joy and optimism for student achievement, and demonstrate patience and support for student social and emotional well-being. Meet all other professional responsibilities.
This position requires a commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment for all students. The successful candidate will demonstrate a dedication to ensuring all students have the opportunity to succeed, recognizing and addressing barriers to academic achievement.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Oregon Teaching License with the required middle school math endorsements.
- Preference may be given to those who are bilingual in Spanish and English.
- Experience with the PLC model of collaboration is preferred.
- Ability to carry or lift light loads (25 lbs). ability to communicate over the telephone; ability to respond to telephone, bells, students, co-workers, etc.; ability to respond to classroom disturbances, visual cues, student requests, etc.; ability to operate office equipment; Physical demands needed: the ability to communicate with students, co-workers, and the public;
