State’s Attorney’s Office
The Champaign County State’s Attorney’s Office is seeking applicants for a Paralegal position. We offer opportunities to join a fast paced, forward thinking prosecutor office in a diverse, central Illinois community known for its vibrant mix of urban and rural elements, strong agricultural base, a growing technology sector, and thriving cultural scene, all within a relatively affordable cost of living. Preferred applicants would have a demonstrated interest in prosecution, criminal law and litigation. Successful applicants must be organized, experienced in technology and demonstrate good judgement and the ability to make decisions.
Job Responsibilities:
Include but are not limited to: managing digital evidence, preparing court pleadings, and assisting attorneys with trial preparation.
Qualifications:
Successful candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree or Associate’s Degree with Paralegal Certification. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in criminal justice, litigation, technology, digital platforms, technological solutions, social services or other relevant fields.
Compensation:
Salary range $39,000 - $58,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
