Advanced Radiology Consultants is currently seeking an energetic, highly motivated Physician Assistant to provide high quality, efficient patient focused care in their busy Interventional Radiology section.  The Physician Assistant will provide care in both outpatient and hospital settings for new and established patients. 

 Responsibilities will include: 

·     Assisting supervisingRadiologist as necessary in basic and advanced imaged guided procedures.

·     Ensuring excellentpatient care and coordinating smooth patient flow, providing care from initialpatient contact through    procedures, and follow-up office vists as necessary .

·     Assisting/CoordinatingPre and post-procedure patient education and follow-up.

·     Accuratelydocumenting all services in patient medical record in a manner consistent withCPT coding and practice/hospital policies.

·     Recognizing emergencyor urgent situations and acting immediately and effectively to providenecessary care, in coordination with supervising physicians.

·     Consulting withInterventional Radiologist, and referring physicians as needed regardingpatient care, assessment, and education.

·     Assisting in theresolution of requests and inquiries from patients.

The candidate must be a graduate of an accredited program and be licensed in the State of Connecticut.  Two (2) to Four (4) years of prior experience in radiology or other surgical specialties is preferred.  Willing to consider other comparable experience.
