Job Summary
As an IT Specialist working with Windows 11 and Intune, you play a key role in deploying, securing, and managing Windows 11 endpoints across North America using Microsoft Intune. You are the go-to expert for application packaging, access control, and multifactor authentication resets, providing essential support to ensure a seamless and secure experience for users across our plants and offices.
Job Responsibilities
- Application Packaging & Deployment
- Package new applications for deployment via Intune and ensure smooth delivery to target devices
- Test, validate, and document deployment procedures for future use and audits
- Access & Group Management
- Create, manage, and update device/user groups within Intune
- Assign appropriate access based on role, region, and business needs
- Application Maintenance
- Monitor and maintain deployed applications, ensuring they are up to date with security patches and feature enhancements
- Remediate issues related to application behavior or compatibility
- User Support & MFA Management
- Reset multifactor authentication (MFA) for users and troubleshoot identity-related issues
- Collaborate with Service Desk teams to resolve endpoint challenges
- Regional Windows 11 Support
- Act as a frontline support resource for Windows 11-related issues across the US, Mexico, and Canada
- Deliver timely technical assistance to plant operations and remote users
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Intune, Azure AD, and Windows 11
- Experience with application packaging tools (e.g., Win32 apps)
- Understanding of MFA, endpoint security, and remote troubleshooting
- Excellent communication skills and comfort working with cross-border teams
- Ability to multitask and prioritize requests in a dynamic IT environment
