The Position:
We are recruiting for a full time Weatherization Field Tech to assist with carrying out weatherization policies with minimum supervision. Primarily outdoor work is performed, to include contact with all levels of employee and clients. General carpentry skills recommended.
Minimum GED, High School Diploma preferred
Hiring Range- 15.96-16.80

Requirements
A. Education: High School Diploma or GED.
B. Experience: Two years experience in Carpentry or related field
C. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Must have good communication and organization skills
Specific Responsibilities:
1. Carry out assigned duties according to agency weatherization policies.
2. Comply with weatherization program grants, awards, contracts and agreements.
3. Attend agency and weatherization meetings, workshops, training, seminars and other activities as directed.
4. Learn how to perform duties in accordance with GEFA and OSHA Safety Training.
5. Learn how to perform weatherization work on site built homes and mobile homes.
6. Learn safety associated with all weatherization tools and equipment.
7. Be able to climb ladders, work on roofs, crawl through unfinished attics, etc.
8. Work in an environment where insect bites (wasps, yellow flies, etc) are a hazard.
9. Work with blown insulation and fiberglass insulation.
10. Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws.
11. Learn how to use all weatherization tools to analyze homes for weatherization input.
12. Data entry on computer may be required.
13. Others duties and assigned by management.
