The Certified Nursing Assistant Coordinator/Instructor plays a crucial role in shaping the future of healthcare by educating and training aspiring nursing assistants. This position involves developing comprehensive curricula that meet state and federal guidelines while ensuring that students gain the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles. Instructors will facilitate hands-on training sessions, classroom lectures, and assessments to evaluate student progress and competency. The ultimate goal is to prepare students for certification exams and successful careers in the healthcare industry. By fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment, the instructor will contribute to the overall improvement of patient care standards in the community.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse with a current active Georgia Nursing License in good standing with the Georgia Board of Nursing. License cannot have the following status codes: probation, suspended, expired, lapsed, inactive, pending, renewal pending, revoked or surrendered
  • Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Georgia with two (2) years of nursing experience
  • One (1) year of nursing experience as an RN must be in a long-term care facility (nursing home)
  • Must have completed a course in teaching adults or have experience in teaching adults and/or supervising nurse aides
  • Strong knowledge of nursing assistant skills and healthcare practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, which are essential for effectively conveying complex information to students
  • Organizational skills are vital for managing course materials, student records, and scheduling training sessions.
  • The ability to provide constructive feedback helps students improve their skills and confidence in a supportive manner. 


 
Morgan Medical Center, located in Madison, Ga is a 25 bed critical access hospital. The facility was opened in December 2018, and is a fully equipped, state of the art acute care hospital serving the residents of Morgan County as well  surrounding counties.
