About The Role   

We are seeking a hungry, humble and smart senior leader to oversee key organizational areas as our Chief Administrative Officer (CAO). As a key member of the executive team, the CAO will be responsible for collaborating with other leaders to drive operational excellence, optimize efficiencies, and ensure alignment between day-to-day operations and long-term strategic goals. The position requires strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills along with a drive for action and results. 

The CAO will provide executive leadership of assigned functions, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with our objectives. Functions may include the following: Human Resources, Risk and Compliance, Information Technology, Performance Improvement and Strategic Planning. 

RESPONSIBILITIES/CORE COMPETENCIES

  • Cultivating Innovation & Leading Change: Identifies and drives organizational and cultural changes needed to adapt strategically to changing market demands, technology, and internal initiatives; cultivates innovation and catalyzes new approaches to improve results by transforming organizational culture, systems or processes.
  • Business Acumen: Manages the budget and engages in the budgeting process for the organization demonstrating a keen understanding of basic business operations and the organizational levers that drive profitable growth; draws from personal experience to quickly evaluate business plans and processes to identify data or recommendations that need further investigation.
  • Optimizing Work Processes: Leads a culture of continuous improvement and innovation where everyone seeks ways to improve processes and workflows and where everyone feels their ideas for improvement will be heard and considered. Isn’t afraid to take risks. Lean or Six Sigma experience preferred.

REQUIREMENTS   

  • A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required, master’s degree desired.
  • Leadership experience in, and oversight of, multiple business functions is required (for example: Human Resources, Compliance & Risk Management, Information Technology and Strategic Planning).
    • 7+ years of senior leadership experience is desired.
  • Action Orientation, Strong judgment and Decision-making abilities, a Drive to seize an initiative or solve the problem, and Outstanding Organizational Skills are required for this position.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of credit union operations and financial management practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Lean or Six Sigma experience preferred.

 COMPENSATION  

  • $285,000 - $305,000/ year
  • Back Office Incentive Eligible
