Retail Store Associate (Pickleball)
Position Overview
We’re looking for a friendly, energetic Retail Store Associate to join our Coeur d'Alene location. You’ll help customers select the perfect pickleball gear, deliver exceptional in-store service, and run product demos and beginner clinics. If you love retail, customer engagement, and pickleball, this is your opportunity!
Key Responsibilities
Retail Sales & Customer Service
Greet and assist customers in choosing paddles, apparel, and accessories
Process transactions accurately and efficiently
Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting sales floor
Pickleball Demonstrations
Showcase Selkirk paddles and equipment on-court or in-store
Guide customers through product features and performance benefits
Beginner Training Sessions
Lead short skills clinics for new players
Teach basic shot techniques, rules, and court etiquette
Store Operations
Restock shelves, track inventory levels, and merchandise displays
Perform daily opening/closing procedures and upkeep
Event Participation
Support local pickleball clinics, tournaments, and store events
Engage with community groups and help promote upcoming activities
Qualifications
Retail or customer-facing experience preferred
Passion for pickleball; playing, coaching, or teaching background is a plus
Outgoing personality with excellent verbal communication skills
Flexible availability, including weekends and occasional evenings
Comfort demonstrating equipment and techniques on court

Job Details
Rate: $18-20/hour
Hours: ~10–15 hours/week (flexible scheduling)
Store Hours: Mon–Sat, 10 AM–5 PM (closed Sundays)
