The Stock Room Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the Stock Room Inventory group and stockrooms at Lebanon, Woodlawn, and the DC. The Stock Room Supervisor interacts with all internal departments, external contractors, and MANE employees. Key competencies include: analytical skills, organizational skills, communication and interpersonal skills, mathematical skills including weights and conversions, and computer skills.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise the Stock Room Inventory and the Receiving team
- Set the example for compliance on all Safety and GMP rules and regulations, including proper use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Ensure all inventory stocking items meet MANE requirements
- Manage and maintain SAP master data for materials to ensure quality, stocking levels and performance are upheld
- Ensure parts are received and processed according to procedure
- Maintain stockroom organization and cleanliness to allow for efficient stocking and pulling of parts
- Develop the team’s individual goals and activities consistent with MANE’s goals
- Monitor and approve all labor hours and PTO
- Ensure appropriate coverage of the receiving and stock room management tasks
- Ensure group members are appropriately trained
- Display a high level of critical thinking in bringing successful resolution to high-impact, complex, and/or cross-functional problems.
- Prepare internal key data for project controlling and compile all important information to generate required reports
- Monitor Stock Room budget. Identify variances between actual and budgeted costs at the end of each reporting period
- Serve as primary Contractor Management coordinator
- Ensure all contractor documentation (Purchasing and EHS) is up-to-date and accurate prior to their first on-site visit and going forward.
- Provide all contractor training for all three sites
- Maintain contractor training documentation to ensure all contractors on-site are current with their training
- Manage the contractor badges at each of the three sites
- Ensure compliance of the Contractor Sign-In Sheet for MANE and the external contractors. Audit completed forms as needed and follow-up as appropriate to drive compliance.
- Assist in the audit of contractor permits to ensure compliance
- Other duties as assigned by management
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Procurement, Logistics, or Finance preferred or equivalent experience of 5+ years in field.
- Management experience required
- SAP experience desired.
- Flavor industry desired.
- Computer literate.
