Position Summary
As a Sustainability Analyst at Oncor, you’ll cover a broad range of tasks related to corporate sustainability, spanning data collection and project management. You’ll assist with the collection and organization of key deliverable data for use in our annual corporate sustainability overview, our inputs to Sempra’s annual corporate sustainability report, sustainability ratings and rankings, and tracking of spend related to sustainable finance committee activities.
Supporting the Sr. Manager – Sustainability, you’ll engage with both internal and external stakeholders coordinating across functions/departments to collect and organize sustainability data and qualitative inputs. Additionally, you’ll share in research opportunities within the field of sustainability.
This role will be hybrid based in our Woodall Rodgers – Downtown, Dallas office with preferred combination of in office days being Tues and either Weds or Thurs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs all essential functions and aspects of the job including any other specific job requirements.
- Works comfortably with employees at all levels, including up to executive level, in designing, executing, and communicating performance management initiatives and results.
- Research and analyze data that tracks key performance indicators and leads to the identification of performance gaps and best practices that enables industry leading levels of sustainability performance.
- Builds relationships and maintains close contact with functional stakeholders to identify and document sustainability related initiatives.
- Responsible for maintaining the Sustainability SharePoint library, including building libraries, managing permissions, and organizing documents.
- Manage sustainability projects by scheduling meetings, following up with stakeholders, developing data collection documents, and summarizing reports.
- Conduct meetings to check the progress of projects to ensure agreed upon deadlines will be met.
- Document and monitor action items to ensure stakeholders are aware of assignments and items are being completed.
- Proactively identify the need for preparation/resolution meetings and schedule accordingly.
- Monitor and escalate risks in a timely manner such that corrections can be made to minimize the impact to the project.
- Capture and distribute meeting notes.
- Monitor and ensure project deliverables and deadlines are met.
- Prepare and scrutinize project data as required.
- Adapts to and works effectively in a variety of situations and with a variety of individuals or groups.
- Learns new methods, techniques, and software as needed to accomplish tasks and fulfill the needs of the organization.
Skills:
- Ability to perform responsibilities with limited supervision.
- Demonstrated project tracking skills including requirements gathering, resource tracking, project variance updates, schedule development.
- Effective analytical, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of the field of sustainability, with strategic thinking, with strong communication and project management skills.
- General knowledge of Sustainability reporting frameworks including: Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB), Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) and Edison Electric Institute (EEI).
- Proficient in working with the collection and integration of data.
- Proven ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and develop strong relationships to ensure success.

- Intermediate application skills in SharePoint.
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent and 4+ years of experience in corporate sustainability, project management, or relevant consulting experience, including working directly with senior leadership and executive teams OR Bachelor’s degree in public policy, statistics, accounting, or like field and 3+ years of related work experience required.
