What You'll Do:
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for a variety of roles at both the corporate and property level, including sourcing, interviewing, presenting qualified candidates, sending job offers, performing background checks and onboarding.
- Partner with hiring managers to assess workforce needs and define role requirements to support strategic hiring goals
- Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies using job boards, social media, referrals, industry networks, and recruiting platforms
- Engage passive candidates and build talent pipelines through outreach on platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, and local apartment associations
- Evaluate candidate qualifications and organizational fit through resume reviews, phone screens, skills assessments, and structured interviews
- Coordinate interview logistics, maintain timely communication with candidates, and ensure a seamless and professional experience throughout the hiring process
- Draft engaging job postings and distribute them across high-impact channels to maximize visibility and attract top talent
- Conduct background and reference checks in accordance with internal procedures and legal guidelines
- Maintain accurate and organized candidate data within the applicant tracking system (ATS) – Paylocity
- Promote an exceptional candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding
- Produce and present weekly and annual internal -facing reports to senior management and executive team members summarizing recruiting progress and analytics
- Manage relationships and costs with recruiting vendors and partners such as LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.
- Stay current on recruitment best practices, employment laws, and industry trends to continuously improve hiring outcomes
- Support and strengthen ongoing employer branding by participating in networking events, job fairs, and professional associations
- Represent the company at local, regional, and industry events to expand recruiting reach and build community partnerships

Requirements
Must-Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- At least 2 years’ recruiting experience in corporate or agency settings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence managing multiple roles and shifting priorities
- A creative, solutions-oriented mindset and strong organizational skills
- Comfortable using ATS platforms like Paylocity, LinkedIn Recruiter, and Indeed
- Knowledge of employment laws and recruiting best practices
- Ability to work onsite in an office environment. This position is based at our corporate headquarters in Leawood, Kansas. We currently follow a hybrid work schedule; employees work remotely on Mondays and Fridays, and are onsite Tuesday through Thursday
