Our Financial Planning & Analysis department is currently seeking a Financial Business Partner II-III. The Financial Business Partner works with various business units to develop long range strategies and plans; assists with revenue, expense and staffing projections; provides reporting, tools and analytical support to foster effective decision making; and contributes to achieving profitable growth targets.

This position is based at our Headquarters in Fairfield, Ohio. Many departments at our Headquarters offer hybrid work options, empowering associates to work from home several days a week. Depending on your role and responsibilities, hybrid options may be available.

Starting Pay: The pay range for this position is $75,000 - $115,000 annually. Pay is based on the applicant’s education, experience, location, knowledge, skills and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance. 

Be ready to:

  • serve as strategic financial advisor to business leaders, driving better decision-making and improving financial performance

  • lead multiple departmental planning processes, including the development of long-range strategic plans, shorter-term tactical goals and key performance indicators (KPIs)

  • facilitate meetings with department managers to review KPIs, quantitative/qualitative progress toward achieving goals, and operating results on a quarterly basis

  • train department leaders on financial tools and provide tailored insights to support effective decision-making

  • develop business cases and cost-benefit analyses for supported departments

  • develop and maintain staffing and other financial models, while analyzing and identifying areas for continuous improvement

  • develop ad hoc reports and forecasts, as requested


Be equipped with:

 

  • ability to think strategically, develop strategic plans and translate plans into roadmaps and near-term tactical plans that drive long range success

  • experience managing department budgets and performing variance analysis

  • detail-oriented, self-motivated, and flexible in a dynamic work environment

  • data analytics proficiency using tools such as Microsoft® Excel and Power BI

  • effectively listens, anticipates, communicates and provides exceptional customer service

  • strong interpersonal and leadership skills

  • ability to facilitate team, department and executive-level meetings

  • ability to lead and contribute to department initiatives

 

Bring education or experience from:

  • a bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting or related field; or several years of experience managing large departments, budgets and strategic plans

  • an MBA or financial designation (preferred)

  • a property and casualty or life insurance experience (preferred)
