Delaware North Travel is searching for a part-time Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Richmond Airport in Richmond, Virginia. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing repairs and the replacement of facility mechanical, cosmetic, and operational equipment.
On July 10, 2025, Delaware North announced its US-based Travel Hospitality Services (THS) business will be sold to Areas, a global leader in travel dining and retail. Unit Description:Serving fliers since 1987, Delaware North provides food and beverage services at Richmond International Airport. When travelers crave a coffee, snack, or full-course meal, we provide options to satisfy everyone's needs. Richmond International Airport is centrally located within Virginia and the mid-Atlantic region. Team members receive free daily lunch, free parking, and a set schedule.
Responsibilities:- Oversee the operation of all electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, services, and equipment
- Perform carpentry, painting, and track operations
- Ensure tools and equipment are in working order and keep maintenance room in neat condition
- Conduct inventories and complete paperwork, work orders, and logs
- Participate in fire prevention and other life safety programs and report accidents, injuries, and property damage to supervisor
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory position
- Experience with machinery, metalworking, landscaping, and locksmith duties
- Must have a general knowledge of the use of simple equipment used in building trades
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- No college degree required
- Manual dexterity sufficient to use hand tools and paint
- Ability to stand, crouch, and climb ladders to perform repairs
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Exposure to outdoor weather conditions in all seasons
