PURPOSE

Manages Software Development teams that develop implement maintain and support software products and systems using appropriate resources processes methodologies and technologies in compliance with SITA's policies and procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintains overall accountability for multiple medium to large scale development implementation and maintenance projects that have a significant cross-functional business impact ensuring the solution(s) developed are able to sustain the long-term goals of the business.Leads teams to monitor analyze and perform feasibility assessments of new and emerging technology and products.Leads teams to collaborate with cross functional teams in development of business cases responding to RFPs and obtaining approval for budgets and capital expenditures.Develops secures buy-in and owns the interlocked budget for his/her team.

EXPERIENCE

- 10+ years experience in a Software Engineering environment.- 5+ years in people management preferably with matrix experience in a global environment.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Sciences or Engineering.- Formal training in project management preferred.
