Are you an experienced Veterinary Technician who loves the pace and energy of working in a busy Emergency & Critical Care Department? Are you a skilled multi-tasker who is passionate about continuous learning and applying your skills?
- Triage of critical patients
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding patient history, treatment estimates, and admitting and discharging of patients.
- Restrain animals for examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Perform venipuncture.
- Monitor anesthesia and recover patients post-operatively
- Maintain cleanliness and order in work areas.
- Perform basic kennel duties as required.
- Communicate effectively and efficiently with Doctors and clients regarding their patients' needs.
SCHEDULE:
- Swing shift (2:00 PM - 2:00 AM).
- Overtime and Saturdays may be required.

- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Veterinary Technician experience is required.
- Licensure is preferred but not required.
- Genuinely enjoys working with animals and can effectively deal with them even when they are stressed, ill, or in pain.
- Must be able to lift and restrain pets of at least 40 pounds, and work on feet most of the day.
- Excellent customer service, computer, and phone etiquette skills are required.
- Ability to bend, stand, stoop, walk, and stand for an extended period of time.
- Required to lift up to forty (40) pounds.
