Major/Essential Functions
- Provides instruction in state-approved basic & advanced certification courses (i.e., EMT-Basic & EMT-Paramedic) and other Simulation training scenarios
- Provides written reports/observations as required
- Assists in maintaining equipment and manikins associated with specific courses
- Provides instruction in specialty courses (i.e., ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) , or ITLS (International Trauma Life Support), or PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), or BLS (Basic Life Support) or APLS (Advanced Pediatric Life Support)

Preferred Qualifications
- Min. One (1) years experience as an ACLS, PALS, ITLS or BLS instructor
- Current licensure or certification as physician, nurse or paramedic
- Current certification as an ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) Provider Instructor, or Current certification as a PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) Provider Instructor, or Current certification as a ITLS (International Trauma Life Support) Provider Instructor, or Current certification as a BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider, Instructor or Current certification as an APLS and/or (Advanced Pediatric Life Support) Instructor
- Experience in providing instruction in state-approved basic & advanced certification courses (i.e., EMT-Basic & EMT-Paramedic) and other Simulation training scenarios. Superior communication & writing skills
- Superior organizational skills & the ability to coordinate detailed programs & events, working with diverse personalities to accomplish program objectives
- Ability to work independently within established guidelines & procedures
- Ability to interact with coworkers, personnel & public in a positive manner
- Superior instructor skills
- Strong grounding & commitment to customer service
